There was a time when I complained about being bloated... but I had no idea! My tummy has been so swollen that I swear if I had worse symptoms I would think I'm expecting twins. It's been about 3 days and the bloated belly has not taken a break. Just wait until I take my next belly pic in a few days... you'll see what I mean! I'm enjoying it though because it makes me feel more pregnant. hehe.
Today I'm officially in the first day of my 6th week! According to my ticker, Baby Breaux is "4-6mm, the vocal cords are forming, and the tiny heart is beating and circulating blood!" And from what I've read, Baby Breaux is also growing its brain right now and has exchanged limb buds for limb flippers! So much is happening so quickly.

So I know we decided that we were going to wait to tell family and friends until after the first appointment, but I'm not sure how I ever thought we could do that. When I was talking to Natalie friday afternoon, I just had to tell my Neetalie! And once I did, it felt exhilarating. I then had to tell everyone else! I called up Joshua at work and said, "I can't hold it in anymore. I'm telling my family so you can tell yours." And then I called everyone else to tell. From what I've heard, this is a tell all or tell none kind of secret. I think I did pretty well though... I held out for six days! We'll see if I can make it another week and a half without telling my friends ;).
