It's been two weeks since I've updated so I hope I can remember everything. The first Friday after I last wrote (May 1st), Joshua left for seven days to go to the shooting range (which, I must add, he scored as an expert shooter!). The day before he left, Beckham was babysat for the first time! He and I were hanging out at Donna and Gene's while Joshua was at work and when Joshua got off, I took a ride to pick him up and left Beckham there. He was without Mommy and Daddy for a whole 90 minutes! Ah, he's growing up...hehe.
Tuesday (May 5th), Beckham and I went to our first Struggles and Snuggles group which is like a Mommy and Me group at Children's Hospital. Amanda and Ariel came with us but Beckham just slept the whole time. I was very disappointed. All the other babies were wiggling on the mat, taking turns looking at each other. He was the only one sleeping!
Thursday (May 7th), Beckham had his second visit with his pediatrician and I couldn't believe what he weighed... 10 lbs!! My little baby had already gained 3 1/2 pounds! He got his second shot which went better than I had expected. He did a big scream when the needle went in him then he went into a silent scream for a few seconds. I picked him up, he let out the silent scream and it was over. Then the doctor told me that I had to change his eating schedule now that he was a month old and growing well. Beckham was eating 3oz every 2-3 hours and the doctor wants him eating more every 4 hours. Beckham actually did pretty well with this. He's been eating 6oz every 4-5 hours (today he ate 7oz!). It only took him a couple days to get into the habit. Later that afternoon, Joshua came home and boy was he happy to see Beckham! He grew so much since the last time Joshua saw him. We were just so glad to have him back. This was the first night that Beckham slept in his crib! He did so well and ended up sleeping in it three nights in a row until the monitor broke. Now he's back in the bassinet in our room. Amanda brought me her monitor today but Beckham has been breathing bad again at night so I'm going to keep him in our room until it clears up.
Sunday (May 10th) was my first Mother's Day! We spent the day at my mom's house with a visit inbetween at Joshua's grandmother's, then spent the evening at Joshua's mom's. I was nice and rested because Joshua got up with Beckham all night. It was a great Mother's Day. (The second photo is of me, my mom and her mom).

Monday (May 11th), I stayed home with Beckham all day and he had a playdate with Ariel. She and Amanda came over and we got the cutest pictures of them together!
Yesterday, Beckham and I went to our second Snuggles and Struggles session, and this time Gina and Leah came with us. I am so pleased to say that Beckham was awake the whole time. He was happy and smiley, and wiggled around on the mat with the other babies. Yay! (Beckham and Leah are pictured below).
Also, yesterday was Beckham's first day boob-free! He hasn't been breastfed since Monday morning, and I am so relieved to have him completely on formula.
Today, Joshua and I were playing around with Beckham and I got some cute shots so of course, I have to share them.
He has been smiling so much! As soon as he wakes up and eats, he is all smiles. We happened to catch him on camera a few times!
