I was doing so good updating everyday that something happened, but now I'm a couple weeks behind again so let's catch up...
On Tuesday, May 26th, Beckham had his third appointment with his pediatrician at two months old. He weighed 10lbs 4oz and was 23 inches long so he gained 4 oz since his six week appointment. It ended up being a big ordeal when I tried to check out because apparently our paperwork for our insurance wasn't turned in on time. Instead of paying nothing, I had to pay $125. And get this, if I had taken him the day before or on June 1st the following week, it would have been FREE! Grrr!
On Saturday, May 30th, we went to see Kate's baby girl, Theresa, at her 3D/4D ultrasound! She has big eyes and lips, and definitely has Kate's nose so I'm expecting she'll be beautiful like my lil sis. We can't wait to meet her! Below is a pic of Beckham taken outside of the ultrasound place and a pic of Beckham and his Nanny, Kate, taken later that day.
On our way home from the ultrasound, we stopped at the piercing shop to have my belly ring put back in. After having it in for almost 10 years, I had a hard time taking it out and although I'm relieved to have it back in, I've been in a lot of pain while waiting for it to heal over the past week. I was told that it wouldn't close!
On Sunday, May 31st, Joshua and I spent the day uptown with Beckham. It was a gorgeous day and I got some really cute pictures.
On Monday, June 1st, I started "working" again! Well if you can call it that. I started helping Stacey with Sofia again! Sofia is so precious with Beckham. She always wants to take care of him and she says she wishes he were her baby brother.
On Tuesday, June 2nd, Beckham and I went to our mommy group as usual and I was able to get a picture of Beckham (10 wks) with his friends, Max (4 wks) and Leah (7 wks). I took a picture with their mom's, Nina and Gina, at Gina's baby shower when we were all three pregnant so it's neat to see all of our babies together now!
On Thursday, June 4th, my brother and his girlfriend Sam found out that they are also having a baby GIRL! I got to say, I am totally shocked because I seriously thought it was a boy! So far, I've been wrong about pretty much everyone's babies! So now we're going to have two little girls - Kate's daughter, Theresa Graciela and Jason's daughter, Payton Jo! Yippy!
Yesterday, Joshua and I took Beckham to Audubon Park where my cousin Brandi and her husband Louis met us with their three children. Of course I had to get a picture of the four kids together before we left but just like last time, it wasn't that easy. The boys screamed the whole time! I have the actual picture along with some others from the day below... AND I have a video from when we were taking the picture! It's too funny!
More videos! YAY! Whenever we burp Beckham he makes crazy eyes and we were able to catch it on film last night. Hilarious!
After we burped him, we took a picture of Beckham laying on Alaska and we even got a video of that too!
We already have a picture of my little family all sleeping on the couch together. Well now Joshua was able to get a picture of his little family all sleeping on the couch together! He caught me!
I know Beckham's been here for over two months, but I just got my maternity pics back from the photographer, Max Trombly. They were taken February 14th!! Anyhoo, to view the maternity pics click on the link below.
