Fritz got his name from the little boy in The Nutcracker Prince. The animated movie was one of my favorites as a child, and Beckham happened to come across it a couple of weeks before Fritz' arrival. The boys watched it and loved it, and Everett especially liked Fritz (Clara's little brother). I got to tell Beckham the story about how Joshua and I picked out the name Clara when I was pregnant with him, and that if he were a girl then that would have been his name. He loved that I got the name from The Nutcracker Prince and has since repeated the story to others.
Fritz made his big appearance on December 2. He brought us the Elf on the Shelf book to explain what he was doing in our home, and apparently liked the boys' toys and trucks....
The following morning, we awoke to our living room having been toilet papered...

Fritz must have been really hungry the next night because he went through all of the trouble of pouring his own cereal and really made a mess...

Fritz got crafty one night and made decorations for our table lamp...

Meet SuperFritz! Fritz wanted to put on a show for the boys so he turned himself into a superhero who was climbing the tree to save Ken from the grim reaper...
Fritz tried to show Everett that diapers are for babies. It didn't work, but Everett has since decided that he is ready for the potty! (more on that in my next post)

Louisiana was just too hot for Fritz. He missed the snow in the North Pole so he made a flour angel...

Fritz took a Dino-back ride...

Fritz made himself some coffee and toast with the boys' kitchen supplies...
Fritz showed up on Marigny's doll's rocking chair one morning with all of our missing Christmas books...

Fritz was climbing the walls one night with Spiderman!

Fritz hung out with the cast of Toy Story onenight...

Fritz thought he would try out Beckham's boots...
Fritz built himself a Lego fort...
Fritz made music with Panda Bear...
Fritz brought the boys a gingerbread house...
Fritz played a prank on Beckham and decorated the stockings with his underwear (Becks thought this was exceptionally funny)...
Fritz wanted to play hide and seek one morning, and we found him inside of a glass in our cabinet...
The boys spent the night out one night and when they returned, Fritz was hanging out in their room watching the movie "Elf"...
On the final morning of Fritz' visits, he brought gifts and a note for the kids...
The boys received behavior charts to help them be better boys the following year, and Marigny got a teething ball. The behavior charts have been a big hit! The boys love putting their magnetic smiley faces on the chart when they do well. Their behavior has greatly improved, and I'm a much happier momma! Our Melissa and Doug charts can be found here.
