Less Than A Week!

Last night, Gina and I went to a breastfeeding class at Touro that turned out to be more interesting than I expected. It actually got me looking forward to breastfeeding now whereas before I didn't really care either way, although I was planning on giving it a try. For so long now while he's been in me, I've been able to share this intimate bond with Beckham that's just between us, and I think nursing him will enable me to continue that a little bit longer. I plan on raising a Mama's Boy!

Today was my fourth exam with my doctor and there is finally something happening! I am 1 cm dilated and my cervix is really soft. But the most exciting news is that I will definitely have my baby in my arms on March 26th (Thursday!!). I will be going into the hospital on the night of the 25th to prepare my body to be induced the following day if hasn't come by then. For days now I've been debating over whether or not to choose March 30th or April 4th as his birthday; but as I was sitting in the waiting room this morning looking over my papers, I noticed that my doctor had March 26th down as my due date (I've been going by March 29th). As I looked at the numbers, 3/26, it just felt right and I quickly decided on that date instead. I just can't go into labor tonight or tomorrow because my doctor will be out of town. Now I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he's stays in until Sunday!

39 WEEKS

By the way, I gained 0 lbs since my last appointment last week and Beckham's BPM was 140 again.

YAY!! You must be SO excited!! You look SO cute and I love his nursery! It was such a good idea to go to a breastfeeding class, I wish I would of. I was 100% clueless when Lauren was born and the first couple of months were pretty rough!
