Welcome To Da Crib

Last Tuesday I took Beckham to the baby group, and this time I was able to get some pictures. He weighed 13lbs 11oz which means he gained 11oz since the Tuesday before. We go back tomorrow so I'm interested to find out how much he's gained since then.

Later that day, I took more pictures of Beckham hanging out at home. He's looking so old!

On Thursday, I took Sofia and Beckham to the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas. It was Beckham's first time and he really liked it. I had been dying to take him for a while because I was curious as to if he would be interested in looking at the fish or not. Robin has a fake aquarium as her screen saver on her computer and Beckham loves looking at that so I thought he would like the aquarium too. It was absolutely packed when we went but we were still able to enjoy a lot of it. I'm looking forward to taking him again soon when schools starts so it will less crowed and we can take our time. Because of all the people, we were only able to look at some of the tanks so we ended up spending a lot of time in the play area which is Sofia's favorite part anyway. Beckham seemed to like it too because I had him leaning over one of the little fish toys, and he kept staring at it and rubbing it with his hands.

Joshua, Beckham and I went to Baton Rouge on Saturday for Jason and Sam's 3D/4D ultrasound. I can't believe it's been over a month since we went to see Kate's! Payton Jo looked adorable and incredibly chubby, and the ultrasound made me even more eager to meet her. Below is a photo at the ultrasound place of everyone who viewed it and a photo of Beckham with Payton Jo on the screen in the background.

Saturday was also Beckham's four month birthday and the day he started sleeping in his crib. We started putting him in his crib when he was six weeks old but after three days, our monitor broke so he was back in the bassinet in our room. By the time we got a new monitor, he had a cold and I didn't feel comfortable having him in the other room where I couldn't hear him breathing. By the time he got over his cold, I just couldn't let go! I'm still not ready to put him in his own room but my plan was for him to move in there at two months old and he's already stayed in our room double that time. Plus, he's just getting too big for the bassinet so I don't really have a choice anymore!

He's been doing really well in his crib, but as I suspected, it has interrupted his sleep schedule. He was sleeping through the night but he's now waking up between 1am-4am to eat, but he goes back to sleep in his crib just fine. This morning he woke up at 6:30am and I heard him fussing through the monitor, but then he got really quiet so I turned the video on and he was laying on his back looking around. It was so cute! I couldn't wait to get him and kiss him up!
