The last time I wrote was Monday, November 2nd and Beckham was still feeling bad. He ended up having a fever that day and the next but got better soon after. That Tuesday was actually a rough day for him because was not only he sick, but he busted the inside of his mouth too. He was holding onto the coffee table while standing and fell sideways to the floor. When I picked him up, blood was pouring out of his mouth. The poor baby! He licked on some ice and the bleeding stopped immediately but I ended up having to throw my shirt away. No more accidents like that since then, thankfully.
On Friday, November 6th, Beckham rode in a shopping cart like a big boy for the first time! Of course he loved it!

Saturday, November 7th was the annual Marine Corps Ball in celebration of the Marine Corps birthday. It was only my second year going but so far I'm two for two as far as going to the ball pregnant. The ceremony is always a moving and beautiful experience. One day we'll be able to enjoy the actual party ;).

Despite his teething, Beckham has been doing really great. Now that I stay home with him regularly, he's on a much needed schedule. I get to spend so much quality time with him that I didn't before when we were running the streets. He's so active now that he really needs to be home to wander around anyway. And he's so funny! Whenever you call his name when he's crawling somewhere he knows he's not supposed to, he speeds up and laughs the whole way. He also thinks that eating is a game so he spits out his food and laughs when you tell him "no". And get this, he's already a little liar!! That's right, I called my son a liar! A few weeks ago, he suddenly decided that he no longer likes peas so he tried to trick me into thinking he was choking when I fed it to him. The night before, he gagged and choked overtime Joshua let him taste a new meat until he stopped giving it to him so Beckham thought that if he choked when I fed him peas I would stop too. And believe me, he wasn't choking. As soon as it touched his tongue, he started faking it and he did this for each bite until he realized that I was going to continue. Then he let me feed him a few bites until he decided he was not going to have it so he threw a fit. He's a booger already!

Beckham recently learned how to get back on the floor after pulling himself up. He used to fuss until someone helped him get back down or he would just fall backwards onto his butt. Now he slowly bends his knees while holding onto the object or table and reaching out one hand to the floor until he gets down. He's so careful about it for such a rough little boy.

Beckham says "da da" all the time now. He even crawled to Joshua one day when he got home from work and climbed on him while saying it. And when we ask him to say "ma ma", he says "da da"! The only time we ever hear him say "ma" is when he's crying.

This past Saturday I took Beckham's 7 month pictures. I also took some shots of him with Joshua and had Joshua take some of him and I. Below are a few but you can view them all at www.StaceyBreaux.com/sevenmonths.html.

ABOUT BABY BREAUX #2:
Tomorrow is the big day!! I can't believe it's here already! If the baby cooperates then we should know what it is by 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon! The whole time I've been thinking it's a boy, but lately I've been calling it "she" so I'm so anxious to finally know. Most importantly, I'm praying to get some good news tomorrow that this is a healthy little baby I'm growing. It's so scary until you finally hear, "lookin' good!".
Baby Breaux is soooooo active! I feel him/her moving all day long so I know this one will be a little boogerbutt like Beckham. I'll really be getting my exercise when they're both walking!
