Beckham has been super busy over these last two months too. I don't mean to sound like one of those moms but he is so incredibly smart that it blows my mind. He uses words for everything now and he even has books memorized. The boy has actually "read" me his book! I didn't have to say a work and he just flipped through the pages telling me what each page said. His memory is so unbelievable that he is always leaving Joshua and I speechless. One day, Donna was showing Beckham fleur de lis and telling him "Saints!", and now he says "Shaints" or "Go Go Go!" every time he spots a fleur de lis, which as you can imagine is everywhere we go. He even spots them on the tiniest things or from really far away. Another day Joshua was showing him the Marine Corps sticker on Gene's truck and telling him to say "Oo-rah!". Well a month later Beckham was looking at a stuffed animal and saying "Oo-rah!" to himself. Totally confused, Joshua examined the area where he was looking and noticed that the Disneyworld tag greatly resembled the Marine Corps sticker. In addition to using words to tell us when he wants something or to point things out to us, Beckham also says certain things in full sentences like "Where is it?" or "I don't know". And he does well with puzzles and draws with crayons. It's so amazing to watch him grow and learn.
Beckham is so sweet and well mannered. He says "Thank you" and "Welcome" (at the same time) when you give him something or even if he gives you something. BUT... even good boys are bad at times. We started putting Beckham in time out a few weeks ago. He goes in time out for throwing things, hitting his brother, running back and forth on the couch, and biting which he's been doing more lately since his gums have been seriously bothering him. He actually does really well in time out. He sits there for one minute while we stand near him looking away with our arms crossed. If he tries to get up or move we remind him that he's in time out, but he rarely tries that. When time out is over, we explain to him again why he cannot do what he was doing and we give him a big hug. When Joshua puts him in time out, he cries and looks so pitiful. But when I do it, he smiles and repeats everything I say, such as "Time out", "Sit", and "Stay". He's such a boogerbutt! Over all, time out has definitely helped. He obviously still does naughty things to get himself back there, but usually if we remind him that he will have to go sit in time out if he does it one more time, he will stop.
Just like Everett wants to do everything Beckham does, Beckham feels the same way about Everett. Beckham climbs into the exersaucer and walker, and gets himself stuck. And he loves to sit in the bumbo seat even though he always tried to get out of it when it was meant for him. He also wanted to get on the wedge that Everett used to sleep on for his acid reflux. My silly boy.

My big boy is obsessed with tattoos! It all started about a couple months ago when Beckham spotted the tattoo on my back. He kept pointing to it saying "Tattoo!" and so I showed him my other two. Now he just points out tattoos all the time so of course we had to give him his own tattoo. His uncle Tomas gave him his first one and since then he gets a new one a couple times a week. He always gets them in different spots so when you ask him where's his tattoo it always takes a minute for him to find it.

July 27th was a BIG day for our little family. It was the day we bought our first house! We finally found the house of our dreams and were able to move off of the naval base. The next couple weeks were super busy and exciting. We had to rush to pack, paint our old walls back white, clean the old house, paint our new walls, move our stuff in and then finally unpack. We had an amazing amount of help from our parents, friends and other family members. We really couldn't have done it without them. The new house is so much more than we ever hoped for. It's so beautiful and we love our neighbors. Everyone is so sweet and friendly, and one neighbor even left us a little house warming gift at our door. There are also 3 other babies and one little girl so far that I know of. It's just perfect here.

During the move, we stayed with Donna, Gene and their doggy Sadie (Beckham calls her "Shadie"). Sadie is Beckham's bud, and I'm sure if you read this blog regularly you have seen photos of the two of them together. Beckham loves to climb all over Sadie and he's almost always a little too rough. Sadie was always good about getting away from him when she had enough until recently. While Joshua, Gene and I were working at the new house, Beckham was getting himself into some trouble at Donna and Gene's. He was hitting his little brother on the head and then turned to hug Sadie so she snapped at him, biting his face. We suppose that she was either protecting little Everett, herself or both from the wild and rough Beckham Breaux. Joshua and I took him to the ER where he received 4 stitches and some antibiotics. It was AWFUL watching them roll him in a blanket to hold him down as they did it. Words can't describe how terrible it is to watch your little baby go through that, knowing the fear and confusion he must be feeling. And then I had to watch him go through it again as his doctor took them out five days later. Poor Donna was there and had to hold him down for me. At least they didn't tie him in a blanket again! After the stitches were out, we continued the antibiotics as his doctor ordered. But it all couldn't just end with that. Nope. Beckham ended up breaking out in a full body rash yesterday morning. We took him back into see the doctor again this morning and were told that it was just a reaction from him acquiring a cold while taking the antibiotics and that it should disappear within six days. I hope for his sake that this is the end of his bad luck.

Beckham picks on his baby brother at times, but sometimes he is so sweet that it melts my heart. Lately, he has been exceptionally kind to him. He's been going up to Everett and rubbing his head, tummy or legs. He pats him and lays his head on him, gives him kisses, and he even asks to hug or hold him. I've been having them play with the same toys together, and Beckham has been doing great with sharing. I love my boys so much.

Before our big move, my baby sister Cherie' or Mychie as Beckham calls her spent several nights at our place. I know I mentioned a million times already how much Beckham adores her but it's just so sweet. Cherie' also spent a lot of time bonding with Everett which she was kind of afraid to do with Beckham when he was that young. I think Beckham is breaking her of her baby fear. lol :)

About a month ago, Beckham's little friend who lives around the block from Donna and Gene came riding by on his mini 4 wheeler or whatever it's called. Beckham was able to ride it and he did so good! He loved it!
Here are some pics I took of Everett at 3 months. He was crying during both photoshoots so I couldn't get him to smile but at least I got something.

One more thing! Everett rolled over for the first time on July 1st at 3 months. Of course, I took a video!
